Our services range from tactical to strategic.
We are happy to work on the smallest pilot projects through to extensive,
daily initiatives if that is appropriate to our clients' goals.
At our UK base in Chertsey, Surrey, we have
around 50 staff who manage up to 1,500 personnel each month (from
our database of more than 5,000). Here’s a list of services
that we currently carry out for our customers:
| Auditing:
Gathering and analysing valuable
information on product distribution, pricing, display
and point-of-sale so that clients can make intelligent
decisions about their brands
|
| Sampling:
When Headcount carried out product sampling for Heineken in 5000 bars, there was a 60-85% increase in sales during the activity and a sustained increase of 38-45% four weeks later |
| Merchandising:
Auxiliary sales forces can merchandise, build displays, collect information, obtain orders and introduce promotional campaigns |
| Mystery
shopping: Deploying mystery
shoppers helps brands and retailers to monitor areas
such as customer service levels and assess the effectiveness
of staff training |
| Training:
We trained in excess of 39,000
staff in 7,500 off-licences on behalf of UDV - boosting
sales volumes of Gordon's Gin by as much as 40%
|
| Promotion
support:
POPAI research in 2003 showed that 91% of brand owners
intend to increase their use of POP but compliance
is always an issue without a FM company's support
|
| Data
collection: we adopt
a 'right time' reporting approach to our projects
ensuring clients receive essential data when they
need it |
| Demonstrating:
increasingly clients recognise
the importance of allowing consumers hands on experience
of products and services |
| Sales:
Headcount set up a flexible auxiliary sales force to sell new products or improve sales of existing products, to businesses or directly to consumers on a face-to-face basis |
| PoS
placement: Choice
equals complexity for consumers. Make life easier
for them by highlighting your brand
|
| Roadshows
& events: These can
be used to support a product launch/re-launch and/or
during seasonally significant sales periods
|
| Stock
replenishment: With 88% of shoppers switching
to the nearest alternative on shelf if their brand
is out of stock - ensuring that your stocking levels
are maintained is of paramount importance. Source:
